HUCHTEMEIER STARTS SALES AND CONVERTING OF WET CREPE MOTHER REELS FROM REBUILT SWISS PAPER MASHINE One of Huchtemeier’s paper mill partners started the rebuilt paper machine of a former swiss paper mill. The 210cm wide wet crepe machine with 4 extra drying cylinders behind the Yankee has a capacity of 14.000 tpy. The high quality 1ply towel and speciality papers made from RC and cellulose fibres will be sold through Huchtemeier in several regions of Europe. A part of the future output will go into Huchtemeier’s converting operations. The new wet crepe quality will be supported by capacity enlargements of V-Fold and C-Fold converting. The new paper quality allows Huchtemeier to satisfy even the price conscious customers with big expactations!

KOSTENETZ STARTED NEW TISSUE MASHINE Huchtemeier’s paper mill partner Kostenetz in Bulgaria started the new Tissue PM No. 3 successfully. The 275cm wide crescent former from Overmechanica has a capacity of 25.000 tpy. The 1-, 2- and 3-ply tissue mother rolls made from 100% pure cellulose will be sold through Huchtemeier in all countries North of BG. A part of the future output will go into Huchtemeier’s converting operations. In Kostenetz there is another tissue machine (PM No. 2/ 420cm) producing 1- and 2-ply RC- and Cellulose qualities.

Shares in our majority shareholder MBB Industries AG, a holding company specialising in medium-sized industrial companies with sustained value growth potential, today began trading in the regulated market, the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The change of segment means that the company is now subject to more stringent transparency and reporting obligations. MBB Industries expects the move to make shares in the company more attractive to international investors. The change to the Prime Standard is also a clear indication of the company's successful development since it began trading in the Entry Segment on May 9, 2006.

GOOD TURNOVER DEVELOPMENT IN 2007 The first accounting year after the investment of MBB Industries AG was closed with increasing turnover in almost every division.

While the hygiene papers and napkins developed very fast, also the graphic papers and speciality papers developed noticeable over last years turnover.

NEW STRUCTURE AND REINFORCEMENT IN THE TEAM "HYGIENE PAPERS" Fast increasing volumes in the Team "tissue products", this team is heightened by two new employees. Mr. Wilhelm Wittfeld was recruited as the new sales director for hygiene papers. Mr. Gregor Puppendahl is the new purchasing and logistics manager. He also takes part in enhancement of the quality management.

In the napkins business, with the products of Hanke Tissue and Huchtemeier Polska, Mr. Andre Meltzer takes care for satisfied customers.

HUCHTEMEIER POLSKA WITH FULL PRODUCT RANGE Huchtemeier polska, the polish base of the Huchtemeier Papier GmbH has now a full range of products in 1ply- and 2ply hygiene papers on a 100% recyling base. In adition to the recycled crepe-toilettpaper, in which Huchtemeier Papier is one of the leading companies, folded hand towels and hand towel rolls are offered.

Mr. Lukasz Wisierski is the branch manager for poland and responsible for the quality-management.

Huchtemeier Group bought the 50% stake of the Huchtemeier Heinzel Papier GmbH from the W. Heinzel AG (Vienna).

All german activities are consolidated now under the HUCHTEMEIER PAPIER GMBH

HUCHTEMEIER PAPIER starts representing the speciality papers of the italian Bolzonella-Group (Rivignano, Ermolli, Conselice).

 
01.07.2006 MBB Industries AG (Berlin) took over 80% of the Huchtemeier-Group (www.mbbindustries.com)

20% is remaining with the Dr. Voßschulte family which is keeping to provide the management.
